“The Deeds of the Divine Augustus” is a monumental inscription composed by the first Roman emperor, Augustus, giving a first-person record of his life and achievements. Various versions of the Res Gestae have been found in modern Türkiye. The most complete copy can be found in the Temple of Augustus and Rome, in Ankara, Türkiye. The original, in Rome, has disappeared.
