Pythagoras

Pythagoras (lived c. 570—495 BC) was an ancient Greek philosopher and the founder of Pythagoreanism. His teachings influenced the teachings of Plato, Aristotle, and the Western world. He is best known today for his Pythagorean theorem, which explains the fundamental relation between the three sides of a right triangle.
