Prefect - Christian Turkiye

A prefect is the leader of an administrative area under the Roman Empire. It was the title of many officials who were appointed and not elected.

Alexandria Troas, on the Northwestern coast of Türkiye, was a major commercial port during New Testament times. Saint Paul used it to travel to and from Greece during his missionary journeys, and also stayed there and preached the Gospel.
