Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa

Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa (lived c. 63—12 BC) was a Roman general, statesman, architect, and the close friend, lieutenant, and son-in-law of the Roman Emperor Augustus Caesar. He is known for numerous military victories, especially at the Battle of Actium in 31 BC against Mark Antony and Cleopatra. He was also known for many notable buildings, including the original Pantheon in Rome and an odeon in the Roman agora of Athens.
