Isis

Isis was a major goddess in ancient Egyptian religion whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world. She was said to have resurrected her slain brother and husband, the divine king Osiris. She helped the dead enter the afterlife and was considered to be the divine mother of the pharaoh. She also aided in healing spells to benefit ordinary people.
