Hippocrates

Hippocrates (lived c. 460 BC—370 BC) was a Greek physician considered one of the most outstanding figures in the history of medicine. He is traditionally called “The Father of Medicine.” Hippocrates’s contributions include using prognosis and clinical observation and the systematic categorization of diseases. He is the author of the Hippocratic Oath, which is still relevant and in use today.
