Also called the Dardanelles or the Straight of Gallipoli, the Dardanelles is a narrow, internationally significant waterway in northwestern Türkiye. It forms part of the continental boundary between Asia and Europe and separates the Asian part of Türkiye from European Türkiye. The Dardanelles connect the Aegean Sea to the Sea of Marmara.
