Also known as the Strait of Gallipoli and, in classical antiquity, as the Hellespont. It is a narrow, natural waterway, or strait, on the northern border of Türkiye that separates the Asian side of Türkiye and Europe, and connects the Aegean Sea with the Sea of Marmara.
