Cybele

Also called Kybele, she is the Anatolian (Asian Türkiye) mother goddess. Around the 6th century BC, Greeks on the west Aegean coast of Anatolia also adopted Cybele, and her cult spread to mainland Greece and the Greek colonies. She was associated with mountains, city walls, fertile nature, and wild animals (especially lions).
