Cassander

Cassander (lived 355—297 BC, reigned 305—297 BC) was one of Alexander the Great’s generals, collectively called the Diadochi. After Alexander died in 323 BC, the Diadochi divided the conquered lands, fighting each other over who would get what. Alexander’s son, Alexander IV, controlled southern Greece, so Cassander seized power by having him murdered.
