The ancient regions of Asia Minor, now called Türkiye.

An ancient region on the southwestern coast of Asia Minor (today’s Turkey), it extended north to south from Ionia to Lycia and west to east from the Aegean coast to Phrygia. Its biggest city was Halicarnassus (modern-day Bodrum), the location of the Tomb of King Mausolus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
