Türkiye, called Asia Minor in the New Testament, is the “cradle of Christianity.” Besides being the place of the Seven Churches of Revelation, it was where the Apostle Paul and other disciples of Jesus traveled, lived, and spread the Gospel. It later became the center of the church in the east.
Alexandria Troas, on the Northwestern coast of Türkiye, was a major commercial port during New Testament times. Saint Paul used it to travel to and from Greece during his missionary journeys, and also stayed there and preached the Gospel.
