Res Gestae Divi Augusti (The Deeds of the Divine Augustus) is a monumental inscription composed by the first Roman emperor, Augustus. It gives a first-person record of his life and accomplishments. It provides a view into the image Augustus presented to the Roman people. It is also a monument to the establishment of the Julio-Claudian dynasty of Augustus. One of several copies of the Res Gestae can be found on the wall of the ancient Momentum Ancyranum in Ankara, Türkiye.
