Leo VI

Leo VI the Wise (lived 866—912, reigned 886—912 AD), was a Byzantine Emperor responsible for several military victories against the Bulgarians in the Balkans and the Arabs in Sicily. He was known to be well-read and was a prolific writer and skilled orator.
