Duration: Eight days, from Istanbul.
Day 1
Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 2
Istanbul tour, visits to Topkapı Palace, the Hagia Sophia, the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Covered Bazaar. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 3
Bosphorus Cruise in the morning, then a visit to the Egyptian Spice Bazaar. Transfer to Istanbul Airport for a flight to Izmir. Meet the guide and transfer to a hotel for an overnight stay in Izmir.
Day 4
Tour of Pergamum and Thyatira. Overnight stay in Izmir.
Day 5
Tour of Smyrna, Sardis, and Philadelphia. Overnight stay in Pamukkale.
Day 6
Tour of Hierapolis and Laodicea. Overnight stay in Pamukkale.
Day 7
Drive onto Selcuk for a tour of Ephesus and Saint John’s Basilica. Overnight stay in Kuşadası.
Day 8
Transfer to Izmir airport for return trip via Istanbul.
