Duration: Ten Days

Day 1

Arrive in Istanbul and meet our guide. Then, connect to your flight to Adana. Fly to Adana, then transfer by bus to a hotel for an overnight stay.

Drive to Antioch (modern-day Antakya), where the apostle Paul’s third missionary journey began and where the followers of Jesus were first called “Christians.” Visit the cave church of Saint Peter in Antioch and Selecucia Pieria, the port city for Antioch. Return to Adana for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Drive to Tarsus, Paul’s hometown, and visit the ruins associated with Paul and the Christian church. Then, visit Derbe and Lystra, two ancient cities Paul visited on his first missionary journey. In Lystra, the people thought Paul and Barnabus were Greek gods. Then Drive to Iconium (modern-day Konya) for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Drive to Pisidian Antioch (modern Yalvaç), the city Paul visited at the end of his first journey and where he preached his first recorded sermon. Then drive to Antalya for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Drive to Perge, which Paul visited on his first missionary journey. The city has beautiful roads, fountains, a theatre, a stadium, a palaestra, a temple of Artemis, and two churches. After the tour, drive to Patara for a short visit before you arrive at your hotel in Fethiye. Patara is where Paul took a boat back to Jerusalem on his third journey.

Day 5

Drive to Miletus, where Paul made his farewell speech to the elders of Ephesus. Miletus was also one of the most important places in the history of philosophy. Then drive to Kusadası for an overnight stay.

Day 6

Visit the city of Ephesus, which served as the mother church of all seven of the churches of Revelation. On this tour, you will also see the Basilica of John and his grave. Ephesus is also the city where Saint Paul lived and preached. Saint John and Mother Mary also lived in Ephesus. After the tour ends, drive to Smyrna (modern Izmir) for an overnight stay.

Day 7

Drive to Pergamum and visit the Acropolis, which is mentioned as the place where Satan dwells. The Acropolis is home to one of the most important libraries of the ancient world and several temples. Visit the massive Red Basilica, once a temple for the worship of Egyptian gods and later turned into a Christian church. Then drive to Assos for an overnight stay.

Day 8

Drive to Alexandria Troas and visit the ancient city. Alexandria Troas was a major port city where Paul set sail for Macedonia. After this, drive to Istanbul.

Day 9

Tour the old districts of Istanbul, with visits to Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sophia, the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Covered Bazaar.

Day 10

Transfer to Istanbul airport for your flight home.
